Christ in You

Have you ever just stopped and thought about the fact that you have the power of God living in you????

Like, right there. All the time.

The same power that spoke the galaxies into existence and formed the cosmos and emerged the stars in all their brilliance.

The same power that created every detail of a butterfly’s wing and the petals of a flower.

The same power designed color and emotions. And gave sound to laughter and waterfalls and baby cues.

The same power that cast out demons, healed the sick, and raised the dead to life.

That power is living within you.

When God calls you to places you do not feel prepared for, it is the power of the Holy Spirit in you that equips you. And in your weakness, it is seen even more plainly, that you could not be where you are without him.

When God declares over us not to fear anything, it is because He knows that nothing can touch us without His permission. He is our Protector and Rescuer, and He guards us both behind and before. We have nothing to fear, because the power of the Almighty rests in us.

He is bigger than anything we will ever face. He can most definitely handle our honesty, anger, doubt, questions, and fear. He made the valleys and the mountains and will walk with us through it all.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. -Romans 15:13
