When you think you need to hide the way you feel inside When you think you won't be missed at all and the fate that should befall When you think you're as ugly as you feel and forget that wounds will one day heal When you think you've gone too far and you're not sure who you are When you think you shouldn't be loved or called worthy When you think you've been broken in two and there's too many pieces there to glue When you think you're nothing more than the mistakes you've made before When you think that I have left you and that everyone else should to But know that I love you. You forget that I know the feelings you don't express and the words that you suppress You forget that I still chose you knowing all the things you'd do You forget that you're more beautiful than the hurt the scars had been You forget that I can redeem the thrown away and broken things You forget that you're not measured by what you have endured You forget that growing pains are only there for greater gains You forget that all the trials and sin can't portray the work within You forget that you're not on your own even your heartache I have known Please don't forget, I love you. You are still all I say you are nothing too broken or too far You are still a work of art even with scars on your heart You are still forever sealed and one day you will be healed You are still unfinished but your beauty can't be diminished You are still my precious child restored and reconciled You are still released from shame no more labels can rename You are still called to heed those in trouble and in need You are still called to be a light in the darkness that I see Remember, I still love you.

I like this poem Anna. It tells Gospel truth and it speaks of a God who forgives and redeems the mess we make.
